Wycombe Ghost Walk
For many, Wycombe High Street is another forgotten road in the boom of shopping centres and retail parks. However, at one time it served as the main stopping point between London and Oxford for the nobility, tradesmen and thieves. Hear stories of how the Dissolution of the Monasteries, Civil War, Public Execution, Highwaymen and First World War conscription all played a part in the history of the town. Could this rich, and often unspoken history have added to the supernatural phenomena that many have witnessed? Join us as we walk the streets looking at the history and hauntings of the town centre!
The walk includes a break in the vicinity of McDonalds and The Antelope pub.
