Ashley Darkwood Psychic Medium, Spiritual Healer & Paranormal Investigator

Ashley was born in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England. From the age of 5, his mother took him to Wycombe Spiritualist Church. By his teenage years, Ashley was doing psychic readings in school and went on to develop mediumship. By his late teens, Ashley was already being asked to investigate what was reported to be hauntings in people's homes. However, he began to notice that many of these reports and phenomena were not paranormal and had more innocent origins.
By the time television was inundated with ghost hunt TV shows, Ashley had spent many years working in community psychiatric services and noted that some members of the community were particularly vulnerable with regard to belief and superstition, something that many of these TV shows unfortunately endorsed.
As a paranormal investigator, Ashley sets himself apart from ghost hunters by thoroughly researching each case he encounters. Ashley is critical of many ghost hunt gadgets and is fully aware of their fallible nature, which can give false readings within a genuine investigation. In the initial stages of an investigation, Ashley does not employ mediumship skills. He goes into a case "sober" and does not leap to a paranormal conclusion until all other avenues are exhausted.
Ashley has vast experience in dealing with negative energies and entities and teaches a comprehensive course on the subject. He has appeared in print, on radio and TV as a paranormal researcher offering analysis and opinion. Ashley has performed both psychic mediumship and paranormal investigation around the UK, New York & New Jersey USA.
Ashley has also been a spiritual healer since childhood and is the leader of Wycombe Spiritualist Centre. Ashley teaches mediumship development and takes inspiration directly from spirit, as opposed to books, doctrine or organisations. As such, others employ his methods for teaching also.
